Industrial fair opens in Afghanistan's Kabul to attract investment

KABUL, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- A week-long industrial and commercial exhibition opened in Kabul, Afghanistan's capital, on Monday, drawing local and foreign companies, the state-run Bakhtar News Agency reported.

Running from Nov. 17 to 23, the event aims to promote the country's domestic industries and agriculture, expand markets for local products, and attract investment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi reaffirmed the government's strong support for locally made goods and its openness to both domestic and foreign investment.
