3-day exhibition showcasing Afghan products opens in Paktia province

KABUL, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- A three-day exhibition aimed at promoting domestic products and empowering local entrepreneurs has opened in Gardiz, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Paktia province, local media reported Friday.

The event featured 80 booths presenting a variety of Afghan-made goods, including agricultural produce, traditional handicrafts, food items, textiles, and locally manufactured products, according to the Tolonews.

The exhibition was designed to promote Afghan products, support small businesses and strengthen domestic industries, the report said.
