The projects, which include building bridges, digging water wells, constructing protective walls, installing street lighting, and improving rural roads, would be implemented in Farah city, the capital of the province, Asama Farahi, a provincial government spokesman said on social media.

The initiatives are expected to create job opportunities for hundreds of residents and improve living conditions for thousands in the area, he said.
