ISLAMABAD, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani security forces have killed 33 terrorists attempting to infiltrate from Afghanistan into Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Friday.

The movement of the terrorists was detected in Sambaza area of Zhob district on Thursday night, the Inter-Services Public Relations of the army said in a statement.

A large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was discovered, and an operation was underway to clear the area.
