KABUL, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Two commuters have been confirmed dead and nine others sustained injuries, some in critical condition, due to a road mishap that occurred in eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Sunday night, reported the state-run Bakhtar news agency on Monday.
The deadly traffic accident took place in Ab Band district due to the carelessness of the drivers, the state-owned media outlet said without providing more details.
A similar road accident left 10 commuters injured in northern Samangan province on Sunday morning.
