KABUL, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Heavy rain claimed one life and injured six others in western Afghanistan's Badghis province on Thursday night, according to the provincial police office.
The downpour, which lasted for hours Thursday night, killed a 12-year-old boy and injured three others in Bala Murghab district.
A muddy house caved in due to heavy rain in the provincial capital Qala-e-Naw, and three people were injured.
Some provinces have experienced heavy rains and cold weather over the past few days.
