Afghan interim gov't marks fourth anniversary of Kabul takeover

KABUL, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan interim government marked the fourth anniversary of Kabul takeover with a grand ceremony on Friday, where officials highlighted achievements.

Authorities highlighted key achievements, including the establishment of nationwide security, strengthened diplomatic ties with countries, the launch of reconstruction projects, the eradication of drug cultivation and trafficking, and efforts to curb administrative corruption.

Other milestones included managing the return of migrants, initiating major regional infrastructure projects, ensuring people's rights, and stabilizing the value of the Afghan currency.
