KABUL, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Members of the Freedom Party of Austria have visited Afghanistan and called on Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, state-run news agency Bakhtar reported Monday.
"A delegation of leading members of the Freedom Party of Austria, in a meeting in Kabul with the country's Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir khan Muttaqi, said that Afghanistan's situation is better than what media broadcasts," the report said.
Identifying the delegation head as Mr. Yohannes, Bakhtar quoted the official as saying, "I regret to say that the current government of Afghanistan, having ensured overall security and putting an end to four decades of conflict of Afghanistan, has not been recognized yet."
During the meeting, matters pertaining to mutual interests came under discussion, and Muttaqi stressed the need to establish consular services in Vienna, the report said.
