KABUL, May 24 (Xinhua) -- Afghan children smiled happily or carefully looked at the camera at an internally displaced persons (IDPs) camp in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan.

These children and their families are in a bad situation because of the ongoing poverty exacerbated by drought, bad harvest, internal displacement and U.S. sanctions.
