Palin causes Obama campaign to respond to attacks
Afghanistan News.Net Monday 6th October, 2008
John McCain's links to a financial scandal have been robustly pointed to by Democratic rival, Barack Obama.
The Obama campaign has launched an attack on Mr McCain over his connections to tycoon Charles Keating, who was convicted of securities fraud after his savings and loan scheme collapsed in the 1980’s.
McCain was one of five senators, known as the Keating Five, interviewed by a Senate ethics panel over their lobbying of banking regulators on Keating’s behalf.
While Senator McCain was found to be less involved with Keating than the other senators he was criticised for his poor judgement.
Mr McCain has himself described the affair as "the worst mistake of my life", and one which led him to sponsor legislation on campaign finance reform.
The attack on the McCain campaign came after Republican vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, accused Mr Obama over the weekend of associating with terrorists.
Mr Obama once served on a charity board with an ex-member of US-based militant group Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, who is now a respected University of Illinois professor.
Sarah Palin expanded her attack on Barack Obama's character on Monday, when she also questioned his relationship with his controversial former pastor, Jeremiah Wright Jr, whom Obama has since denounced.
In an interview with conservative The New York Times columnist William Kristol, the Alaskan governor said there should be more discussion about Wright, who is known to have made anti-American and anti-Semitic comments from his pulpit.
When Kristol pushed Palin on the relationship between Obama and Wright, she replied: "I don't know why that association isn't discussed more, because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country. To me, that does say something about character."

Ignorance and THE Fraud
Seems people are stupid enough to try to justify their ignorance by attempting to blame others for imaginary things. Why did NObama quit the Keating 5 smears? Because it was proven to be 4 DEMOCRATS who TRIED to involve McCain and failed.
NObama went to a racist church for 20 years was a registered Muslim in Indonesia. Was adopted in Indonesia.
He is not even a citizen. He is currently being sued to produce documents in many states and CANNOT produce a document that gives him the RIGHT to run as PRESIDENT.
Stop being foolish and a racist yourself. NO one person is worth the disolution of the constitution. NOt even a black one.

fair enough he listened to the preacher
Obama may have been friends with an un-orthadox pastor who preached agression and went too far, but hey, lets remember obama was a black kid growing up in an a world where his own race was routinely assulted by police and discriminated against. Cant really blame him for wanting to bring about change (even though i agree it was via an incorrect method). The root cause of all of these problems was the unfair and inhumane treatment of the african american folks which was institutionalised within the greater America culture.

Worst Mistake?
Funny. I thought McCain’s worst mistake of his life was setting off the fire on the U.S.S Forrestal and then getting his daddy to cover it up So the ass wouldn’t be held responsible. Hmm...

ms palin, If these concerns you bring to the Table really do bother you, let the talks begin!
Of Course you will now also provide Sworn testimony regarding your role in the Alaskan Investigation of Miss Use of Office by the Govenor in her sister’s divorce.
Now I my world, miss use of office is a tidbit more important than going to church, and becoming close to the Pastor, until you find you disagree with him in ways that cannot be resolved.
But Heck if your willing to be investigating Obama or even just the pastor, you most certainly will give Orders to get the rule of law going in Alaska!

Now I get it!
Now I know why Obama has refused any Town Hall meetings with McCain, it’s because he’s scared shitless that someone will pose a question about his criminal past. He’s trying so hard keep all these bad dealings secret. He’s a horrible candidate. Now I’m definitely voting for the safer candidate.

OBAMA=DISASTERx10
Obama is ethically and morally bankrupt, but Obamatons don’t care about character or ideology. So let’s discuss the enonomy. Including the homeless being bussed in to vote for Obama, I’d like to know what percentage of Obama supporters actually pay taxes. How many think that Obama will be handing out freebies when he gets in office. How many know (or care) that the Democrats bear most of the blame of this financial crisis (Frank, Dodd, Schuman, Pelosi, Obama). How many know that McCain and other Republicans have tried to implement legislation that would have prevented this meltdown but were defeated by these same Democrats?
Obama’s economic policies, if he is elected, will push us over the edge into another Great Depression. Instead of lifting up the lower and middle-class, we’ll all be pulled down. Expect businesses to close or relocate out of the country; jobs will be lost; raises and benefits will be reduced or eliminated. The programs he has promised with one trillion dollars of new spending will not be implemented as there will be no money to fund them. The pullout from Iraq will enable Al Quaeda to regain control and we will be stuck fighting TWO wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I cannot imagine a bleaker future for this coountry if Obama is elected.

Berg vs Obama
It is being brought to the attention of many, without help from the media who doe not speak of it, that Senator Obama has a lawsuit filed against him in PA. It is a lawsuit questioning his eligibility to be President. Whether true or not, this needs to be settled before election.
The lawyer who filed the suit said he would dismiss it, if Obama will just present the required records, one which is the vault copy of his birth certificate, which is not the same as the one floating on the internet.. An FBI agent, on an interview, said that candidates do not have background checks as it is an election by the people. Which I disagree with, as the people should be aware for whom they are voting.
Below is a petition someone started to get Congress to settle the Berg lawsuit by having Senator Obama present the records requested. The real story is why Obama is fighting the case and not just producing the documents.
Here is the link to the petition;
http://www.rallycongress.com/constitutional-qualification/1244/stop-obama-constitutional-crisis
So far Mr. Obama has refused to produce the documents and is trying to fight the court order to produce the documents.
Any American should be able to prove citizenship in less than a day. Why can’t Mr. Obama?
Here is a link to the actual court documents - http://news.justia.com/cases/featured/Pennsylvania/paedce/2:2008cv04083/281573/
A constitutional crisis will rip our country apart. If this is not cleared up now we will have a crisis. If you care at all about America you must call for Mr. Obama to produce the documents and prove that he is eligible to be President.

Let the truth come out.
Obama most certainly hides from the truth at every turn.
His Acorn/Soros ties will out distance any scandal ever devised.
Palins minor problems are very pale compared to the glaring problems with Mr Obama and his collection of friends.
Even McCain has less baggage even with the Keating allegations resurfacing.
Mr Biden a careeer crook has a very tarnished past as well.
Lets face it the controllers don’t like people that don’t have some form of control over!
Mr Kissenger please step away from the pretty lady your foreign policy advise is more damaging the helpful!~

Way to go Sarah! Of course someone who is running for the highest job in the land should have to answer for those who have influenced him... You can cast aside your associates when you’re backed into a corner, but that doesn’t erase the crud that’s already infected you. It’s appalling how the press has let the little precious one hide behind their skirts. Sarah knows that’s no way to raise any responsible adult, let alone one who thinks he has what it takes to lead a country.

American people are NOT sure to this black man Obama.
Although many TV news media and pollers love to blowing wind before Nov. 4th Election Day, but so far Obama’s polling numbers are “backfiring” America’s security. American people are NOT sure to this black man Barack Hussein Obama; Mr. “Zero”, a phony ? a fake ? a titular ? an Indonesian Islam ? a liberal Socialist ? Or a Kenya’s fly ?
McCAIN-PALIN : " Too worrisome to American mainstream is “before” November 4th, American people to ask “NOW WHAT ?" in mind; if this Democratic Party’s black man Barack Obama is a potential to America’s future what you believe in polling numbers, WHY American people don’t start putting what they have to Wall Street to invest the tomorrow’s 2009 now ? But the Wall Street’s stock market is sinking every day for Obama ! If these Obama’s polling numbers are reliable, too scary to American mainstream is “after” November 5th, American people are still keep asking “NOW WHAT ?" What this black man Obama’s back-stage’s consortia can create what kinds of new jobs to American unemployed ? That’s what McCAIN-PALIN call him “Mr. Zero”, and NOW WHAT ?"

From watching the debate last night, did anyone get the impression that John McCain could have had almost the exact same debate against Hillary Clinton?
Before saying anything else, he did just fine. On the issues he chose to address, he did so in a calm, rational way which seemed to connect pretty well with the audience on both sides of the television. Just as he has done before, he set forth nicely the need for earmark reform, the need to tighten the federal belt, the plans by his rival to raise taxes on pretty much everyone. Personally, he mentioned reaching across the aisle with Joe Lieberman and Russ Feingold and Ted Kennedy a little too much for my taste — lamenting that the McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act of 2003, a nightmare of a bill, did not pass brought out a loud groan in my living room — but addressed healthcare and climate change and domestic and foreign policy in a competent, down-to-Earth manner. The “Town Hall” style suits him well, and it shows.
However, should Hillary Clinton have been in Barack Obama’s chair across the bright red carpet, I get the feeling that he would have had the exact same things to say. That, my friends, was the problem.
McCain needs to count on a little of the “comfortable old shoe” vote, people who walk into the voting booth with their mortgage or their job security or their monthly budget on the mind and pull the lever or push the button for the known entity, the well-worn, scuffed-out, beat-up pair of New Balance sneakers, rather than the flashy, shiny new pair of Nikes. As the flashy, new Nikes, Barack Obama just needed to show that he, too, can elicit comfort — and he did.
All Barack Obama needed to do was convey, to American voters, that he was a safe, smart, thinking man’s average center-left senator who, when push comes to shove, would keep the perspective of the American public at heart rather than govern strictly from his far left ideological standpoint. And, with the exception of repeatedly stating his intention to make “investments” in the economy (read: increased taxes and spending) and his argument that healthcare is a “right” for all, he did that. He was, largely, not actively exposed as the radical he is.
While McCain did point out Obama’s and the democrats' responsibility in the economic crisis, you’d never know that he was sharing the stage with a guy who has just about the worst judgment in friends and acquaintances that a guy can have. While the format doesn’t necessarily lend itself to personal attacks, it would have been nice for McCain to ask the audience four simple questions:
First, how many of you, by show of hands, know who Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson or Jamie Gorelick are? (Then, he should tell them about their former positions.)
Jim Johnson was advising Sen. Obama on his vice presidential pick, until he stepped down amidst the mortgage controversy. Raines and Gorelick continue to advise Sen. Obama on economic policy. Who would you like to see put in charge of the economic recovery of America?
Second, in your own circle of friends, how many of them are corrupt Syrian businessmen, PLO operatives, advisers to Saudi billionaires, card-carrying communists, mentors and founders of the Black Panthers, unrepentant domestic terrorists, or rabid racists who blame the United States government for trying to kill black people with AIDS?
Often times, the men or women who sitting U.S. presidents nominate to the U.S. Supreme Court are people with which they’re comfortable, ideologically and otherwise. Who would you like to see on the bench of the United States Supreme Court, shaping our laws, culture and country for a generation?
All Monday-morning quarterbacking aside, as the GOP candidate debating his rival, McCain did just fine. He won. As John McCain debating Barack Hussein Obama, however, he may have won but could have done a whole lot better.
