Imran Khan warns Afghanistan may slide into civil war once NATO forces leave country

Pakistan cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has warned that Afghanistan could slide into civil war once NATO forces leave the country for good.My fear is that they are going to leave a far bigger mess than was left by the Soviets when they left because there could be a civil war there now," Sky News quoted him, as saying.

"The army now is well armed and from the Northern Alliance. The Pashtuns with the Taliban are not armed... they are with the majority. Once they (NATO) leave, there is going to be a civil war, a power struggle there exactly like what happened after the Russians left. Hundreds of thousands of people died," Khan added.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Khan, who is now considered a serious player in the country's politics, believes his Movement for Justice party can win enough seats in the next election to push him into power as prime minister. (ANI)

Mr. Imran Khan mourns for Talibans who have beseiged Pashtuns with the help of ISI of Pakistani Army. Mr. Imran Khan represents the religious parties of Pakistan who are the favourits of Islamic Jehadi parties sponsored by Pakistani Army. Yes, he can be installed Prime Minister of Pakistan by bogus votes controlled by Pakitani Military, no doubt. The days are gone when Panjabis of Pakistan instigated Pashtuns to supress and kill the ethnic minorities of both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Now, the two major nations - Panjabis & Pashtoons - should mind their own business i.e. to live peacefully in Panjab and Pashtunistan.
